Matthew Thornton is the heart behind Limitless Playing LLC—a program built on the belief that everyone deserves the joy of movement, connection, and play. With over 17 years of experience designing classes and team practices for youth, high school, collegiate, and senior citizen athletes, Matthew brings a deep well of knowledge and energy to every class.
Matthew's spent the last 20 years as an in-home care provider for an individual with autism and has been a Special Olympics volunteer for over 15 years. His work is personal: his younger brother Michael has Prader-Willi syndrome, giving Matthew lifelong, firsthand experience with a wide range of behaviors and the compassion and patience to match.
A natural motivator and skilled coach, Matthew knows how to turn physical activity into something joyful and meaningful. Whether it's tennis, golf, basketball, or pickleball, he makes every class an opportunity to build confidence, connect with others, and simply enjoy the moment.
When he's not teaching, Matthew can often be found playing golf, tennis, or pickleball because there's nothing better than getting a good sweat in with friends!
